Meet Our Management Team

Kim Hubbard

Founder

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Kim Hubbard founded Pharma Ed Resources in 2006 and currently serves as our President & CEO. She has over twenty years of experience producing training conferences in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with a Minor in Women's Studies, from California State University-Northridge, and a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Women's Business Council of Champaign (IL), and on the International Committee of the Champaign Rotary Club.

Mark Hubbard

Vice President

Born and raised in Boston, Mark Hubbard joined Pharma Ed Resources in 2009 and currently serves as our Vice President and CSO/Director of Research. Prior to joining Pharma Ed, Mark was Professor of History at Eastern Illinois University, with a research specialty in US politics, and the history of regulation and government institutions. He holds a B.A. in Anthropology and a Ph.D. in History, both from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has published three books and over thirty peer-reviewed articles and reviews.

pierre Viallant

Director of Sales & Business Development

Born in Atlanta and raised in Champaign (IL), Pierre Viallant joined Pharma Ed Resources in 2019 and currently serves as our Business Development Manager. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. He is also an accomplished Cellist who has performed at Carnegie Hall.

Ashley Panenhanouvong

Executive Administrative Assistant & Venue Planning

Born in San Diego and raised in Urbana (IL) and Phoenix, Ashley joined Pharma Ed Resources in 2021 and currently serves as Executive Administrative Assistant and Venue Planning. She holds an A.A. from Estrella Mountain Community College. She is a foodie and bulldog mom with an interest in e-commerce and creative writing.
